SWE Savannah Coastal Empire will be hosting our 13th annual Girls Engineer It Day (GEID) and we need YOUR help in making it possible!

It will be held on Saturday, March 8th, 2025. We want you to be a part of it! See below for your way to contribute through signing up to:

We are no longer looking for Volunteer at the 13th annual Girls Engineer It Day. Our largest STEM event of the year, hosted by SWE, supported by many other organizations, schools, and local businesses! 

Thanks to our amazing community, we have all the volunteers we need for this event! FREE Expo ​Company / School / Univ / Org Registration

Our event begins with an Expo in which area companies, organizations, universities, and K-12 schools showcase themselves to the 300 students and their parents.

Participation/Booths in our Expo are FREE of charge. Use the form below to register.

To participate in our Expo, please fill out the form below! We ask that all business consider staying after the Expo for the Parent Panel Discussion immediately following the Expo in the Media Center (aka Library). This gives a chance for Parents to ask questions about your school, university, or place of business that can help them for the future.

PLEASE consider giving any size donation to help sponsor our event and make it possible for a successful event.  Donations are the way we keep the registration fee to a minimum and allow the students to have multiple take-home STEM creations. Link to sponsor below the Expo Registration form.

GEID has been an integral part of SWE – Savannah Coastal Empire and has been hugely successful in the past years. This year we would like to continue the tradition of bringing together STEM enthusiasts and students for an amazing event in 2025.

Each year we team up with local engineers, organizations, and companies to provide an outstanding opportunity of learning and growth to the community. It’s not too late for you, your company or organization, to donate and help us achieve our goal.

Gold: $500 and higher

  • Recognition given in all PR communications. Includes event communications and website.

Silver: $500 – $200

  • Recognition given in some PR communications. Includes event communications and website.

Activity and/or Supplies sponsor: $200 or in-kind donation

  • Recognition given on our website and activity information.
  • We also need goodies/trinkets for the student registration bags if you have some to supply!

Individuals who wish to contribute are encouraged and appreciated!
100% of all funds given go directly to increase STEM in our community. Savannah Coastal Empire SWE is volunteer driven.
